By car:

From the west:  from Lindau or Zurich to Bregenz,  with the A14 (Rheintalautobahn) over the Arlbergpass or via the Arlbergtunnel, then Arlbergsschnellstrasse until Pians - Paznaunstraße - Galtür

From the north:  to Garmisch or Füssen,  onwards via the Fernpass until Imst, then via the A12 (Inntalautobahn) until Pians - Paznaunstraße - Galtür

From the east or south:   via Innsbruck continue with the A12 (Inntalautobahn) until Pians - Paznaunstraße - Galtür

don't forget to purchase the toll sticker for the Austrian Autobahn network!

Caution:
The Silvretta Alpine road is a nice way to arrive out of the west in the summer:  exit the A14 in Bludenz and drive throught the Montafon Valley.  However, the pass can only be crossed from about mid June until beginning of August!  Enquire about the current status and weather conditions before leaving. We can provide a voucher for the toll by email.

By rail:

By train to Landeck, then by bus
to Galtür. travel time with the bus is approx. 70 min.

By air:

Munich, Zurich or Innsbruck airport,
then by rail and bus to Galtür.

It is possible to arrange pick up at the airports through our local taxi services, and while the cost for individuals may be prohibitive, larger groups may find there is little difference paying 5 or more adult train tickets versus the additional convenience of door-to-door service by taxi.
